Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Lokesh Banduji Ingale ("we", "us"), who runs DekhoPlay at dekhoplay.live, collects and uses your personal data, in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
What we collect
- Mobile number — to create and identify your account and link your payments.
- Name and email (optional) — if you add them, for invoices and support.
- Payment records — plan, amount, date, payment and order IDs and payment status from Razorpay. We never receive or store card numbers, UPI PINs or bank passwords.
- Viewing data — what you watch, how far you watched, your list and ratings, so we can resume playback and suggest titles.
- Device and log data — IP address, browser and device type, sign-in times and active devices, to keep accounts secure and apply the device limit.
- Ad attribution — if you arrive from an ad, the campaign details in the link (such as utm tags or click IDs).
Why we use it
- To provide the Service, process payments, issue invoices and keep your plan active.
- To secure accounts, prevent fraud and enforce our Terms.
- To measure and improve our advertising and the Service.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
Advertising partners
Our landing page uses the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure ads. When you buy a plan, we may share a one-way hashed (scrambled) version of your mobile number, your IP address, browser details and the purchase value with Meta for measurement. We do not sell your personal data.
Who we share data with
- Razorpay — to process payments.
- Bunny.net — to store and stream video and images.
- Our hosting and database providers — to run the Service.
- Meta — for ad measurement as described above.
- Authorities — only when required by law.
How long we keep it
Account and viewing data is kept while your account is active and for up to 2 years after your last activity. Payment records are kept as long as tax laws require.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to act for you. Write to support@dekhoplay.live from or about your registered number; we reply within 30 days. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide the Service.
Security
We use HTTPS encryption, encrypted storage of secret keys, access controls and expiring playback links. Please keep your mobile number private, because it is used to sign in.
Children
The Service is not meant for children under 18 without a parent or guardian.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember which ad you came from, and Meta's cookies for ad measurement on our landing page.
